WHAT IS CEA?

CEA was founded in 1999 by language teachers and administrators and it was recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a national accrediting agency for English language programs and institutions in 2003. As explained in their website “CEA’s accreditation process comprises an eligibility application, workshop, self-study report, site visit, and accreditation decision.” Currently, CEA has accredited 345 IEPs in total with 313 of them in the USA and 32 internationally.
